Woodlawn Fest presents a Black Wall Street festival to highlight the rich history of Black-owned businesses and Black excellence

The purpose of our event will highlight the rich history of black-owned businesses and community pride. We will create an exciting forum of great entertainment, (performances from dancers, Dj's, singers, rappers) education for the community, delicious cuisines from some of Chicago's most renowned black own businesses, chefs/food businesses, and 50+ vendors.

Black Wallstreet EXPERIENCE will include:

• Antique cars show casing the richness of Black Pride

• Each corner will display an unique and different experience from the 1920's-1940's

• Art Row that will represent the look and feel of Black Wall Street

• An Affirmation Wall - where Festival goers can share their thoughts on the BWS Experience.

• A Panel of Historians, discussing the Black Wall Street Experience

• A Taste Of Wall Street - Food Trucks and Chefs

• Cigar Lounge

• Live Entertainment

The festival will take place on 61st Street from Eberhart to Cottage Grove
